Masatoshi Ishikawa has invented a scanner that scans the pages while you are flipping the pages of a book. The pages are scanned curved and then processed by the computer to make them flat.
This scanner makes it possible to scan a book with 200 pages in less than a minute.

OK Go's Rube Goldberg video
OK Go made a new video for their song "This too shall pass". This one features one of the biggest Rube Goldberg machines I've ever seen.
